Volunteering

We depend on our volunteers for many of our activities. Our greatest need is for home visitors, to ensure that our animals are placed in suitable homes. If you are interested in this vital work, and you have some time to spare, then please do come and see us (we will provide training). We also need people to help us raise funds, to assist us in the Shelter reception, and to help with cleaning out the animals. We would love to see you if you think you could help us in any of these areas.

Dog Walking

Perhaps you are not able to have a dog yourself, but would like to walk some of our homeless dogs? Our dog walking times are 10.30 - 11.30 am, every day except Monday.  If you are interested just pop into the shelter during these times and sign in at reception.  You are asked to leave an item of security (e.g. car keys) while you are walking.  Dog walkers must be 16 years or older, younger children are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult.
